Boat Plumbing Heating and Engine Installation
The Plumbing, Heating and Engine Installation Course is our new and expanded plumbing course following feedback from previous students.
Aimed at those people who are keen to do some refitting work or a complete fit out of a sail-away the course offers a practical introduction to the design, materials, tools and techniques of projects that are within the reach of people who have little hands on experience of this type of work.
The course offers a practical introduction to all the skills necessary to design and install all of the plumbing, heating and engine installation on a narrowboat. Whenever possible we spend a high proportion of the course “on the tools” giving students a chance to improve their skills.
Because we know that a course like this is only the beginning of a self build we also encourage students to contact their instructor afterwards when they are actually in the build if the have any questions or need advice.
This course is another one of our Boat Building suite of courses which include: Boat Fitting (First Stage), Boat Fitting (second Stage) , Boat Electric Systems (Design and Installation) and Boat Plumbing, Heating and Engine Installation Course.
This course can be booked individually, however if you book two or more courses at the same time they attract a significant discount.
