Boat buying course at NBSC

The boat buying course at NBSC is intended for people who are contemplating buying a narrowboat (new or second-hand) or who are intending to have a narrowboat built to their specifications. The course gives an overview of all the major areas to be taken into consideration when buying a narrowboat.

  14. Boat Safety Certificate

Where do we hold the courses?

The course is held in our dedicated classroom at Debdale Wharf and although it is predominantly classroom based we may wander round the marina to look at various examples of the types of boat we are discussing.

Catering Facilities

Hot and cold drinks are available throughout the day and lunch is provided. Please contact us if you have any special dietary requirements.
